Sachiin Joshi - Amalgamating His Passion And Entrepreneurial Skills

It wouldn't be an exaggeration on any level to say that being an entrepreneur is in Sachiin Joshi's blood. His father only knew one way in the business world and that way was forward. There was no better learning place for Sachiin than at home. After a steep learning curve that took him from India to England, he is now taking JMJ exactly where he wants it to be. His earliest brainchild was the XXX Energy drink. XXX stands for Xperience Xtreme Xcitement, symbolic of what Sachiin wanted to introduce into the untapped Indian energy drink market. Sachiin himself is an avid sports enthusiast and has strived to support all kinds of sports activities and health/fitness initiatives across India. The energy drink represented something he is passionate about and also presented itself as a smart business opportunity. The drink has been renamed as SJ XXX after Sachiin himself and was the principal sponsor for Shahrukh Khan’s KKR team in the T20 IPL tournament in 2011. The drink was also the title sponsor for the Indian Boxing Federation and Chiranjeevi's Chiru Cheetah's in the Tollywood T20 Trophy. The 'XXX venture' best epitomizes Sachiin's astute acumen, amalgamating his passion towards good health and fitness with well founded business interests.

Sachiin Joshi - The New Year brings New challenges.

2011 has been quite a year for Sachiin Joshi, from dominating the board rooms to debuting in Bollywood. The entrepreneur and the passionate actor within him have battled  various challenges the year brought with it. The year was dominated by Aazaan. From training to shoots to conferences to events. In the midst of all that, Sachiin found the time to take Aazaan to Cannes and charm the international audience. And then his Bollywood bow. A performance well received in an action packed thriller that wowed audiences and left the critics with something worthwhile to write about. On the entrepreneurial front, he continued to take JMJ forward. Realty projects in different cities means that the JMJ is building a sound foundation in the construction industry. Headway has even been made in the tourism and hotel businesses. SJ XXX, the energy drink launched by Shahrukh Khan and brought to the market by Sachiin has also been well accepted. So as he allows himself a breather, enjoying a beautiful view of Dubai from his villa at the Palm Jumeirah, we ask him what his plans are for the New Year. "I'll be bringing in the New Year in Dubai. And i must say I'm excited by the challenges that lie ahead," says Mr. Joshi. Why shouldn't he be? He's left a mark in every sector he's decided to set foot in. Whatever 2012 has in store, he's certainly up for it.

Sachiin Joshi - The Entrepreneur

Sachiin Joshi's journey with JMJ began in 2004. To be born into wealth is at times fawned upon, especially for young men who enter into the business world bowed down by expectations and end up struggling to match up to the massive challenge in front of them. After all, once you reach the top, there's only one place you can really go. Inevitably its down. Sachiin however is an undoubted exception to the rule. Having studied in India and abroad, this man had been earmarked to lead JMJ into a newer pastures for a long time now. After all, to survive, one must diversify. A concept Sachiin imbibed in his head. The lessons he learned from a young age held him in good stead. He harbored ambitions of helping the enterprise establish itself in many a field. And the heir apparent has not disappointed. Since joining JMJ, he has made quite a few bold decisions. But he knows know other way. After all, until you roll the dice, you can never know the result. His vision was to make JMJ a company with a turnover of Rs. 5000 crore. Seven years on, he's closer to that goal. The way this man works, 5000 crore will just be another number.

Sachiin Joshi - The Beatle

Sachiin Joshi's plans to establish JMJ in various other sectors began with realty projects. The establishment of the exquisite Beatle hotel in Mumbai was the perfect beginning. The hotel is close to Sachiin's residence and was his brainchild. The structure paints a beautiful picture. It fits with Sachiin's plans to concentrate on 'Hospitality' as he aims to make a mark on the hotel business in India. "The idea is to offer a pleasant experience for any guest who decides to visit. Indians are associated with being hospitable which is a prominent aspect of our culture. So the idea fits in perfectly", says Sachiin as he enjoys the Beatle experience himself. He's been watching over the project since it began, so we won't grudge a few blissful moments inside the hotel. JMJ under the Sachiin's leadership has gone about buying land all over the country and there are quite a few projects in pipelines. A few more are already underway and keeping in mind the warm responses the Beatle has received, Sachiin Joshi has set the bar quite high.

Aazaan Star Sachiin Joshi To Debut In the CCL

SachiinJoshi has set about making a name for himself in Bollywood and left quite a mark with his action packed debut in Aazaan. Now he's set to acquaint himself with some of the biggest names in the Indian Film industry as he sets to debut in the second edition of the Celebrity Cricket League. Sachiin is set to play for Sohail Khan's Mumbai Heroes. The team also includes established Bollywood names like Suniel Shetty, Bobby Deol, Sonu Sood, Dino Morea and Ritesh Deshmukh among others. Sachiin is quite the sports enthusiast and has been involved in different sports in India, including boxing. However in India, cricket holds a special place in every sports fan's heart and Sachiin is no different. He has already set up a JMJ Cricket Academy to help underprivileged youngsters work on their cricket skills. The League includes 3 other teams representing the biggest cities in the country. The curtain raiser to the second edition was held in Hyderabad and graced by names like Salman Khan, Sridevi, Venkatesh, Shriya Saran, Jeet, Lakshmi Rai, Priyamani, Charmee and Sameera Reddy. As always, Sallu stole the show on the night and also launched the CCL calendar. The photo shoot for the calendar captured beautiful actresses from all over the country. Sonakshi Sinha, Riya and Raima Sen, Deeksha Seth and Kangana Ranaut all got temperature soaring in beautiful Goa, where the shoot was held. With the exception of the Mumbai Heroes, the league also includes the Bengal Tigers, the Telugu Warriors and the defending champions, the Chennai Rhinos.  The Heroes finished last in the previous edition but the captain insists, there won't be a repeat of that. Sachiin Joshi himself is intent on making a difference and proving to be quite the asset for his team. He has been training hard in Mumbai, practicing some lovely cover drives in between his rigorous fitness routines. The league begins in Dubai on January 13 in the new year. The Aazaan man saved the world once, now hes out to save the Mumbai Heroes.

Sachiin Joshi – a man with a winning vision

To climb a mountain is a challenge. To reach the peak is an achievement. So now you have two choices – Either strive to touch the sky or let gravity take you down. A similar dilemma engulfed this man. Standing at the top of the JMJ mountain, he didn’t look anywhere but up. The vision of a man born into limitless opportunity and intent on touching heights ordinary men don’t even dream to reach.

To inherit an empire might be considered a blessing. But to expand that by compromising on personal dreams is not a joy ride.  There is a need to understand your responsibilities but it’s important to not give up on your passion. Now he’s an intricate part of the JMJ machinery and set to lead the company into territories unknown yet with the intention of conquering it all. But that’s far from it. Aazaan gave the entertainment industry a taste of what’s coming. And there’s a lot more in store. He’s an entrepreneur, a creative genius, an actor and a humble human being. People, the name is Joshi. Sachiin J Joshi.
