Mallika Sherawat out of Sachiin Joshi's next

Mallika Sherwat has been shown the door by Sachiin Joshi who's all set to star in his second film directed by Ankush Bhatt.

Aazaan's leading man Sachiin Joshi has discovered that Mallika Sherawat who agreed to play the lead opposite him in the edgy Mumbai underworld thriller Mumbai Mirror, doesn't come cheap. Or easy.

Having paid the self styled international star a whopping signing fee (approximately Rs 50 lakhs) to be part of the film, Joshi found out that Mallika had a number of reservations about the film, and that included the director. In a panic Joshi and his crew have spent a large part of the last month trying to convince the actress that the project is worthy of her august presence. But to no avail.

The deal has fallen through. And now we hear Mallika has walked out of the project. Since the shooting in far-off exotic places was to begin in May Joshi and his crew are stuck for a leading lady. He is now looking at a last-minute replacement and asking for his money back from Sherawat.

A source close to the project told us all the details. "She is not willing to return the money and Sachin is being advised to adjust the amount with a later project. Sachiin Joshi is a producer who can afford to buy himself the co-star he wants. He wanted Mallika in this earthy edgy take on Mumbai's underworld. He had agreed to pay her a reported Rs 2 crores for 15 days work. After getting get her to sign on the dotted line, the clothes, dates, etc. were worked out."

That's where the fastidious Ms Sherawat stuck.

Says the source, "Mallika had reservations about the director Ankush Bhatt. She felt he hadn't proved himself yet. Joshi felt otherwise. He offered to show Mallika the director's first film Bhendi Bazaar Inc. But she was unconvinced. Then she had reservations about her role. So far Mallika has only played urban glamorous characters. In Mumbai Mirror, she was cast as an earthy gritty woman of the street. It's a character and a world that she wasn't familiar with. Mallika wondered aloud if she would be able to pull it off."

Sachiin Joshi tried to play down the stress level . "Yes, Mallika does have reservations regarding her role and the director. She wasn't sure if Ankush would be able to deliver. I showed her Ankush's first film Bhendi Bazaar Inc. You see, Mumbai Mirror goes into an action space completely different from the stylized action that I did in Aazaan. It's like Ram Gopal Varma's Satya meets Anees Bazmee's Ready. And I knew Ankush was perfect to direct it."

Sachiin laughs, "The whole film is set in Mumbai. It's called Mumbai Mirror because it reflects the harsh reality of the city under the polished surface. We were hunting for a title when my eyes fell on the popular tabloid in my hands. Mumbai Mirror was perfect."

Sachiin Joshi goes Aamir Khan way

Gone are the days when Shah Rukh Khan would sport the same look, irrespective of whether he was playing the romantic Raj in Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge or the depressed Devdas.
Experimenting with looks is the in-thing and Bollywood actors have begun going to great lengths to get the skin of their characters. Salman Khan toned his body further and added a moustache for 'Dabangg'. Akshay Kumar will follow suit playing a policeman in 'Rowdy Rathore'. Aamir Khan actually grew a moustache to fit into the cop's role in 'Talaash'. And as if these are not enough, Bollywood has a new chameleon now.
Sachiin Joshi, whose debut film 'Aazaan' stunned the industry with its amazing action and production values last year and even bagged a Stardust Award for it, is pulling all stops to play a quirky cop in his next film 'Mumbai Mirror'.
To begin with, just like Aamir, the actor is growing a stylish moustache for it, instead of going for a fake one. "Having the perfect look goes a long way in making the character look authentic. Its amazing, the way Aamir manages to change his look to suit his character in almost every movie he does," remarks Sachiin.
But the newbie is not just stopping at a facial change! Just as Aamir did for his other film 'Ghajini', Sachiin is undergoing rigorous physical training, with his trainer having put him on a strict diet regimen too. Having lost a lot of kilos and toned up his body, the 'Aazaan' star aspires to look every bit of the tough but whimsical cop he portrays in 'Mumbai Mirror'.
Directed by Ankush Bhatt, of 'Bhindi Bazaar Inc.' fame, the movie mirrors the Mumbai underbelly and revolves around the nexus between powerful corrupt dance bar lords and the Mumbai Police.

Sachiin Joshi to Root for the Mumbai Indians!

The city of Pune might have played a big part in the upbringing of Sachiin Joshi but when it comes to choosing, the entrepreneur turned actor is Aamchi Mumbai through and through!

We got confirmation of this fact when we asked the Bollywood newbie that for the fifth edition of the IPL, which team he would be supporting. The response was loud and clear –
“The Mumbai Indians!” The Pune Warriors were never in the race. “I don’t want to seem biased, but I’m a thoroughbred Mumbai man. I’m a huge fan of Sachin Tendulkar and the team looks better than ever this season. We’ve been unlucky in the past but I’ve got a really good feeling about this season,” says Sachiin.
Sachiin has been in love with India’s favorite sport since he was a kid. He participated in the Celebrity Cricket League as a member of Sohail Khan’s Mumbai Heroes. He has also helped set up a cricket academy which funds and trains upcoming athletes. The IPL presents the perfect concoction of sports and entertainment.

Bollywood celebrities are sure to be out in full voice, supporting their teams and Mr. Joshi is sure to be in the Mumbai Indians corner when it matters!

Sachiin Joshi's Viiking Quest!

Those of you who have heard the name 'Viking Quest', would immediately associate it with the hit television series Entourage. But don't be left confused, because Sachiin's 'Viiking' Quest, is a bit different. Sachiin Joshi has launched a new company called Viiking Ventures which will lays it claws into a variety of fields. These fields include health spas, energy drinks, travel, infrastructure and entertainment. While Sachiin has already enjoyed success with all of these under the JMJ banner, the man himself is keen to establish a new entity. "This decision has been taken with the idea of establishing Viiking Ventures as a separate organization. It is an ambitious project and i have envisioned a bright future for it. Undoubtedly there is a risk involved. But without taking risks, it is difficult to succeed," says Sachiin. The entrepreneur turned actor has already made quite a few bold moves in the business world which have resulted in more success than failure. He undoubtedly faces his biggest challenge in the corporate world as he hopes to establish Viiking Ventures as a big market player over the course of the next few years. From our side, we wish the dynamic entrepreneur all the best with his new venture!

Agent Vinod loses out to Aazaan and Singham

While Agent Vinod is garnering mixed response from its audiences, an internet poll has voted the movie much behind last year’s action releases like Singham and Aazaan, with Players and Don 2 also being part of the poll.

In an audience poll on a leading social networking site this week, the Saif Ali Khan starrer ranked behind Ajay Devgn's Singham and Sachiin Joshi's Aazaan in the race for the best action movies of the year. Luckily, going by its current hype, the film managed to beat Don 2 and Players by a small margin.

"While Aazaan had riveting action and breathtaking locales matching Hollywood production values, Singham made sure it stunned everyone with its car stunts and South Indian cinema style larger-than-life action," says a trade analyst. "Though Agent Vinod moves from one country to another, exploring different locations at a rapid pace, its script leaves a lot to be desired," he adds.

Going by the latest trends, it seems Bollywood still has to learn a few lessons before it can match up to Hollywood finesse the way Aazaan or Players did.

Sachiin Joshi is all set to return to the big screen

Sachiin Joshi is all set to return to the big screen post his Bollywood debut in the highly visible film Aazaan. The tentatively titled film 'Mumbai Mirror' is to be directed by Ankush Bhatt who had  previously gained positive reviews for his critically acclaimed film Bhindi Bazaar which had left quite a mark on B-Town last year.  The film sees Sachiin play a cop and revolves around the sensitive issue of dance bars.

The film is also expected to cast Mallika Sherawat as the leading lady. The names of various cast members is yet to finalized. However there's an interesting aspect surrounding the film which revolves around the presence of another actress who is set to play a role of equal importance as Mallika Sherawat. Fans and critics alike are waiting on this closely guarded name. The film will be produced under the Viiking Media & Entertainment Pvt. Ltd. banner.

When asked about the interesting name of the movie, Sachiin said, "Mumbai Mirror is catchy to say the least. But the movie will be a symbolic reflection of the hardships faced by a class of people we tend to ignore in the hustle bustle of daily life. Everyone in this brilliant city has a story to tell. Our aim is to bring that story to the audience."

Vodka with fresh lime soda for me

I love vodka, it’s my all-time favourite drink. A nice tall glass of Grey Goose vodka with fresh lime soda is my idea of the perfect sundowner. I like fresh lime soda because it’s refreshing and, at the same time, not very strong in its flavour. I also find the quality and smoothness of Grey Goose very good, far superior to other brands of vodka.

I know many people like to use fruit juices or cola as their preferred choice of mixers, but for me, it has to be soda. I don’t like any artificial flavours marring the essence of my drink. I want to enjoy and appreciate the smoothness of the drink, which is why I like using just soda as the mixer.

I like being with my gang of boys. We are guaranteed a rollicking good time when we get together and drink it up. We like going to Hakkasan and this is the scene for most of our outings. I am a total Hakkasan loyalist, be it their outlets in London, Dubai or now Mumbai.

*Sachiin Joshi - From Flab to Fab*!

Being a Bollywood actor is no easy feat. Yeah, these guys rake in the moolah, but they make big sacrifices to get where they want to be. Films, roles and directors demand different things from you as an actor and you have to keep up with expectations. Last but not the least, the fans have to love you. Sachiin Joshi has set about in preparation for his next film where he plays a cop. Mallika Sherawat stars opposite him in the female lead. And while his lady lead has the ravishing figure to pull off being the 'Queen of Dance Bars', Sachiin is all set to beef up his looks to go one step ahead than even the likes of Baji Rao Singham and Chulbul Pandey.

Sachiin himself is quite the fitness freak and obsessive about his workouts. We've heard he's now following a new diet regime, 'from flab to fab' as he hopes to muscle up in the months to come. Sachiin fans are already excited to see their hero in a new avatar. Think about the impact Aamir Khan left with Ghajini. Sachiin is also teaming the work out with a special diet which means he won't be allowed a sip of alcohol, even in celebratory mood. Well that's Bollywood for you, kuch jeet ne ke liye kuch haar na padta hai, wise words indeed!

Friends Sharing a Laugh - Sachiin & Harpreet!

A fitting three piece Armani suit. A Franck Muller watch. And a pair of Tag Heuer glasses. Boy does he cut a striking pose! And it's not just us saying. Its the opinion of the man conducting the photo shoot. "He looks great on camera. I've shot Sachiin a few times now and its been a great experience. The guy is one of the most humble people i know. And because he looks so good on camera, it rubs off well on me too," says Harpreet Baccher with a smile. Harpreet is Sachiin's chosen photographer and good friend. "I've known Harpreet for a while now. He's an awesome guy and one of the first people i run to when i need advice. He's been an ever present in my Bollywood journey so far," says Sachiin Joshi. Undoubtedly a friendship to treasure. And boy is Harpreet a valuable source when it comes to getting information on Mr. Joshi. "Sachiin is one of the biggest shopaholics i know. From shades to clothes, this guy is an avid collector. If you run through his closet, you'll find brands like D&G and River Island. When you ask him where he picked the latest pair up from, he'll reply with a look of incredulity. It just implies that he doesn't know the answer. His philosophy is simple - If you like it, buy it. The rest is history," reveals Harpreet. Sachiin laughs on hearing these accusation thrown at him. "Harpreet is exaggerating. Check the brands that this man has on him and you'll be left amazed. It's quite ironic that he shares such a story about me," replies Sachiin. Well we can't be sure of the truth. But boy do these guys have a go at each other. In between the jokes is mutual appreciation and a strong bond between to men who do their jobs brilliantly. There isn't more to be said, is there?

No Respite for the Groom, Sachiin Joshi !

For a guy set to be married in the next fortnight, SachiinJoshi doesn’t seem to have too many days off to plan his own wedding. His next brainchild, Viiking Ventures is set to be launched with the intention of making forays into fields like health spas, entertainment, travel, infrastructure and energy drinks and Sachiin is busy putting the finishing touches to his plans. “Viiking Ventures is all set to go. Over the course of the next month, we’ll be making some announcements which will also have ramifications on my position in JMJ. So I’ve been really busy. I barely got Valentine’s Day off to spend with Urvashi,” says Sachiin with grin. And the consequences of that beautiful day dedicated to love are for everyone to see. Mr. Joshi will soon be riding a ghodi as he leads the baraat to the house of the beautiful Naqaab actress. . Well the times ahead are all set to be busy but enjoyable for a man who loves a challenge. We just hope for Urvashi’s sake that he can take some time off and make it to the honeymoon!--

Sachiin Joshi to Tie the Knot

Well just a few days post Valentine’s Day and we sadly bring bad news for a lot of beautiful women out there. One of India’s most eligible bachelors, is all set to tie the knot with his long time girlfriend. Sachiin Joshi confirmed that he and girlfriend Urvashi Sharma are all set to get married. The confirmation arrived from the Aazaan star on Valentine’s Day via his phone status. The actor posted a picture of Urvashi and himself and revealed that the duo had decided to get hitched. The news left many of his closest friends pleasantly surprised “I doubt any of us were expecting this, but we are really happy for Sachiin and Urvashi,” reveals one of them. Sources reveal that Sachiin is a planning an extravagant reception scheduled to be held in the first week of March. The guest list is set to include the biggest names in B-Town along with politicians, industrialists and bureaucrats. Sachiin’s sisters have already got the ball rolling when it comes to wedding preparations with the reception set to be held in Mumbai. Urvashi Sharma might be a Delhi girl, but there have been no plans to hold a celebration in the capital city yet. Sachiin himself is quite excited though he hasn’t commented on any of the wedding plans. Either way, everyone around him is expecting him to give up his bachelorhood with a bang. After all, he doesn’t do things any other way!

Sachiin rocks at Max Stardust Awards 2012

Glitz. Glamour. Celebrities. Stardust Awards. On one of Bollywood's biggest nights, the entire film fraternity made their presence felt at the grand function held Mumbai. Quite a few celebrities laid their claim to being the night's show stoppers, none more so than Sachiin Joshi who won the award for the Most Promising Debutant of 2011 for his performance in the slick action film Aazaan. Talk about leaving a mark when it matters the most. The evening was graced by some of Bollywood's biggest film stars including the legendary Rekha, Akshay Kumar, Deepika Padukone, Vidya Balan, Kajol, Kareena Kapoor, Anushka Sharma and Bipasha Basu. Dressed in a smart black blazer, Sachiin cut quite a figure on the red carpet. For a man who has already seen the highs of international events like the Cannes Film Festival, such events still give him jitters. Expectedly, he was ecstatic on receiving the award. "I'm honored and proud. Aazaan has left it's mark world over, from Cannes to Bollywood. I'm grateful to Stardust and to everyone who has helped along on the way. The journey is just beginning and I'm intent on achieving a lot more. With God's blessings and the support of all my fans, I'm sure i will," said Sachiin. From being passionate about movies as a kid to winning one of B-Town's most prestigious awards, it's been quite a ride for Sachiin. And with 2 more films already lined up for 2012, he hopes to continue his upward spiral. Few people would deny the fact that this man is set for a bright future in Desi Tinsel Town.

Sachiin to work with Milla Jovovich?

Bollywood has evolved over the decades into an industry which is more demanding. Critics are waiting for an opportunity to write you off and the continuous emergence of new talent means establishing yourself has never been more difficult. So how does a Bollywood newbie view this challenge? “As a newcomer, I have to do what I’m here to do. Put in good performances onscreen as the audience needs to  accept and appreciate you first. Critics are always difficult to please. So stick to believing in yourself,” says Sachiin Joshi. “There’s no doubt that Bollywood has changed a lot. The influence of the West is also quite profound in a lot of our movies. We look to spend a lot more on special effects and the overall packaging of the film. Consider Aazaan, we spent a bomb on choreography and locations. But in the end it was worth it,” he continues. With a few films already lined up for 2012, we ask Sachiin if Hollywood ever crosses his mind. “Well Bollywood is being recognized on a global level and that’s great to see. So, why not? Maybe one day I’ll be seen opposite Milla Jovovich,” he cheekily adds. If you didn’t know it, Sachiin is a huge fan of the Resident Evil star. For the time being however, Sachiin is enjoying Bollywood but you can never tell what the future holds.

Sachiin Joshi - The Heir to the King?

People tell you that when you dream, dream big. No point settling on something small when you can conquer the world. Sachiin Joshi takes this to heart. He was passionate about acting and always dreamed of making it big in Bollywood. So who was his idol along the way? Well go re-read the title of this piece and you'll have your answer in a jiffy. Yes. It was Shahrukh Khan, the Badshaah of Bollywood himself. From Deewana to Don 2, Sachiin has followed Shahrukh very closely and is intent on learning as much as possible from the man himself. "Shahrukh Khan was the first 'larger than life' Bollywood superstar. He set the trend for celebrities and has a fan following that can be matched by very few. Each film of his sees him evolve as an actor. But most importantly he has always had that trait of humility ingrained in him," says Sachiin.
High praise for a man who has achieved enough to know what he is talking about. "I've watched all films of Shahrukh and been fortunate enough to spend time with him and know him as a person. He supported me when I debuted in Bollywood in Aazaan and he's always been great," further adds Sachiin.

Sachiin dreams of making it big and one day matching up to the level that SRK has managed to reach. No easy feat and Sachiin knows how difficult a challenge that is. "Don't get me wrong, I don't want to be Shahrukh Khan. I want to carve my own image in Bollywood. But if there was a benchmark, it would be him." Sachiin Joshi always picks his words with care. Only time will reveal the legacy, he leaves behind in B-Town.

Priyamani-Sachiin follow SRK-Shirish into controversy!

The media seems to be so obsessed with the Shah Rukh Khan-Shirish Kunder episode that it is fishing for similar stories to report, even if it amounts to imagining some! One such incident a prominent publication in Hyderabad has reported is about Aazaan actor SachiinJoshi teasing Celebrity Cricket League (CCL) brand ambassador and Southern actress Priyamani in a Shirish Kunder-like "allegedly inebriated" state at a party. Luckily for Sachiin, the article doesn't conjure up a 'slap'.
Sachiin who plays cricket for Sohail Khan's Mumbai Heroes has been globe-trotting from Australia to Maldives to States to Dubai off late. But the Hyderabad publication 'insists' he tried to "hold her hand" and "hug" Priyamani, rubbing the damsel's "ego" the wrong way at a CCL after-party. The funny part is that the said article claims this inspite of quoting Priyamani's mother in the same piece, stating that the actress was "busy shooting" and that "nothing like this has happened."
Sachiin's publicist Dale Bhagwagar also points out that the report is a figment of over-active imagination. "It's a fabricated story. Someone is trying to use the media as a platform for personal gain or vendetta, trying to plug and plant false and fictional information in the form of a news story. The media should be wary of such people trying to cause malice by manipulating a journalist," he says.
Last week, a Mumbai tabloid had also funnily reported that Sachiin Joshi was found strolling in "pink chaddis" at a Dubai hotel where CCL players were put up. "They were red chaddis and not pink and Sachiin was wearing them above his blue tights," his publicist had joked then, comparing the young gun to a superhero; very much like the character he played in Aazaan.
ow, now! With this new Priyamani 'story', things are surely hotting up on the Sachiin front! Wonder if the writer should be 'crowned' the 'king' of sham! Shah Rukh-Shirish not withstanding, this even seems to be a perfect case for the Press Council chief Markandey Katju to comment on, before Sachiin Joshi emerges the new 'Controversy Prince' of Bollywood and cricketainment.

Sachiin Joshi - The Con Man?

Well the title shouldn’t put wrong thoughts into your head. Sachiin Joshi is as honest as humble as they get. So it is quite ironic, that the Aazaan star is set to take up the role of a con man in his next Bollywood venture. Soham Shah of ‘Kaal’ and ‘Luck’ fame will direct the film. “Versatility is the hall mark of every good actor. I’ve already played a RAW agent in Aazaan and I’m looking to test myself with a different role,” says Sachiin. The film will be titled ‘I Am Charles’ and will be shot in three different countries. For a man who loves traveling, this is right down Sachiin’s alley. It is the journey of a 15-year-old boy to a 50-year-old middle-aged man who is wanted by all the international government agencies. Sachiin is set to romance sixteen women in this one, nine of them from Bollywood. That does make Priyanka Chopra’s previous feats look quite normal. From saving the world to setting new Bollywood records, Sachiin Joshi is right up there making a mark.

Sachiin’s Next Step

It’s been a while since the Aazaan mania has died down and now Sachiin Joshi is looking forward to his next Bollywood venture.  His next role sees him play a cop and the plot revolves around the sensitive topic of dance bars. The female lead will be played by the sexy Mallika Sherawat who is known for shaking those enviable hips to some enticing dance numbers. Ankush Bhatt who has already dealt with topics such as the police and the underworld in his previous film – Bhindi Bazaar, will direct the film. Some of the biggest names in B-Town have recently donned the khaki vardi in films. Salman Khan and Ajay Devgn both played policemen in Dabangg and Singham respectively. The interesting bit in this one however, is that Sachiin’s character in the film is yet to be revealed. This means that he can have a negative or a positive role. So we’ll have to wait and see whether Sachiin gets rid of the bad guys pulling similar superhuman maneuvers like Chulbul Pandey and Baji Rao Singham. The film goes on the floors in March and Sachiin is really excited as he looks to cement his place as a superstar in Desi Tinsel Town.

Sachiin Joshi - The Traveler

He plays various roles in his daily life. From entrepreneur to actor to humble human being. He excels at most. But did you know that Sachiin Joshi is the ultimate travel and adventure junkie. Most people dream of traveling the world, seeing new places, experiencing new cultures and taking in new sights. To many, that remains just a dream. But Sachiin Joshi is determined to make that dream a reality. His mantra is simple - Experience something new as often as possible. He makes it a point to venture to at least one new place every year. He believes that the more you travel, the more worldly wise one becomes. Seeing things from different peoples points of view changes the way you view the world and helps you grow up and helps you appreciate the beauty of life. Not to mention the fun and excitement of seeing a new place for the first time. Sachiin has been to various places across the globe. But there can never be a moment where someone can sit back and say that they've seen everything worth seeing. It's this insatiable hunger to keep exploring that keeps him going.

Sachiin's Secret is Out in the Open!

Chetan Bhagat once wrote about a phone call from God which went onto change the lives of a group of middle aged people. Well we are about to tell you a tale, not so far fetched yet equally important for the Mumbai Heroes. Sachiin Joshi received a phone call on the eve of Mumbai's game against the Chennai Rhinos from a very a famous personality. A recognizable voice. Well before you think much further, we'll reveal that it wasn't God. It was Salman Khan! A few morale boosting words which left Sachiin's confidence at a dizzying peak. The result was there for all to see. An accomplished performance by Sachiin which was instrumental in the victory of  Mumbai Heroes over the defending champions and banish the demons of the previous CCL. People might perceive Sachiin as a lucky mascot but his teammates reveal that his energetic personality has been a great addition to the squad. Sachiin on his part has been as modest as ever and says that team work is the secret to Mumbai Heroes impressive start to this campaign. Even the defeat against Kerala hasn't affected team spirit. The Heroes have promised a rousing response and it's on the field where they'll do their talking.

Sachiin Joshi's Spiritual Side

Amidst the constant hustle of his busy travel schedule and intertwined acting career Sachiin ensures that he keeps true to his spiritual beliefs. He believes God is everywhere and not just in a temple, mosque or a church. God lives in everyone in the form of our conscience and his presence can be felt through actions and not just words. Simple beliefs with a powerful core. Representative of a man who has touched dizzying heights but keeps himself grounded. Sachiin has always given credit to the Almighty for all his achievements. This humble professional not only dedicates adequate time for prayers at the beginning of his lengthy day but has made sizable donations to charities and other institutions showcasing his humanitarian side of life to which any individual would empathize. Sachiin has also planned to open a charitable organization, the details of which are being finalized. One would agree that the contributions made by him are emotionally invoked if not spontaneous in nature and conclude that his heart (if not bigger) are just as big as his pockets.

Sachiin Joshi's - The Other Side!

Everybody needs a outlet to release that pent up stress. After all, "All work and no play, makes Jack a dull boy." Some like to just put their feet up and relax and others . . . they like to put their foot down. When Sachiin's not shooting or submerged head first into one of his business ventures he's cruising in his Lamborghini for hours on end until he's calm and ready to face the next day that awaits him. Then again moods change. Given his passion for music Sachiin likes to drown his stress amidst the loud trance he occasionally indulges in or at times  in soothing Sufi music which just helps him disappear into a world discovered by a few. This energetic young man is vibrant and never thinks twice about passing up the opportunity to absolutely rage at the hottest night clubs across the world. And why shouldn't he? When you work as much as this guy, you better party as hard too!

Sachiin Keeps Up with a Busy Schedule

A bruised finger, a competitive day's cricket and a flight back to Mumbai was no excuse for Sachiin Joshi to deviate from any plans that he had in mind. His persistence to honour any commitments that were scheduled was inevitable. An enthusiastic Sachiin Joshi was spotted at renowned photographer Harpreet Bachher's studio in the wee hours of the morning just moments after landing in the city. Sachiin was working with Harpreet on the look test of a new movie project which will be anounced in the coming weeks. He put everything into the game against the Chennai Rhinos and was instrumental in the Mumbai Heroes picking up a morale boosting victory over the defending CCL champions. So you wouldn’t blame a normal individual for taking  a day off. But not this man. He rushed back to finish all the other tasks on his check list and again proved why he is the ideal all-rounder. Turns out he wont settle for anything less than a “win – win” situation when it comes to the team or individual matters!

Sachiin Joshi - As Tough As they Get!

To say that Sachiin was excited about debuting for the Mumbai Heroes in the Celebrity Cricket League would be an understatement. He took his fitness routines to the next level and worked extensively on his cricketing skills. Sachiin has played the sport since a young age and is quite an accomplished player. However disaster struck on the eve of the team's opener in Dubai. Sachiin injured a finger on his left hand. Being left handed, this would undoubtedly affect him on the field. Initially, the team's physiotherapist suspected a fractured finger which in all probability would rule him out of the opening position and for majority of the tournament. But Sachiin was in no mood to sit back and take the next day off. Being the professional & cricket enthusiast that he is, he told the physiotherapist to tape the finger up and assured his teammates that he would be out there the next day. A few painkillers and a quick fix up of the injured finger and Sachiin was out there on the field. His performance in the opener was vindictive of his determination to leave a mark and not let his team down. Sachiin went on to contribute to Mumbai Heroes making a good start to their tournament against the Telugu Warriors and then in the victory against the Chennai Rhinos. Sachiin went on to take a couple of wickets while bowling an economical spell in the latter. Reports later revealed that the injury was not a fracture. Sachiin will recover to play a part in Mumbai Heroes quest for the title.

Sachiin Joshi - Playing the perfectionist

Sachiin Joshi’s zest for life comes from a simple philosophy - Whatever you do, put everything into it. Otherwise, don't do it at all. Since a young age, Sachiin has always made sure he doesn't waste the opportunities that have come his way. From running a huge corporation to traveling the globe to venturing into new business fields like energy drinks and entertainment. Whatever Sachiin Joshi puts his mind to, you can be sure it has his complete attention. A small example of his dedication is when he started training for his movie Aazaan. He mastered the south Indian martial art of Kalaripayattu which helped keep him in shape for his stunts. "People always ask me, how i manage to give all our business ventures, equal attention. The truth is to make sure that each field has my undivided attention at important stages. Life is a marathon and not a sprint. You have to pace yourself out to make sure you don't lose out at any stage," says Sachiin. Valuable words of advice from a man who knows how it's done. His conquests are symbolic of that.

Sachiin Joshi driven by his passion for cars.

If last year's event represented the perfect setting for every automobile enthusiast, this year promises to be bigger. The Parx Super Car Show is back and Sachiin Joshi is all set to attend being a huge car buff. The show is reflective of the passion for premium niche cars by members of the Super Car Club of India. Only the aristocrats can afford such beauties, which are valued in crores. Sachiin Joshi photoshoot in the exotic Maldives

Sachiin Joshi has had quite a challenging year working on Aazaan.  Every newcomer has nerves as he steps in front of a camera for the first time in Bollywood. And Sachiin was no different. But working with seasoned professionals and a model who has spent more than her fair share of time in front of the lens does help. So while Sachiin was initially apprehensive of this photo shoot on the beautiful island of Maldives, he gradually took up to the idea. The shoot was overlooked by ace photographer Harpreet Bachher. When younger, Sachiin was a part of some FTII projects in Pune which got him to take a keen interest in films. But there is huge difference between small scale projects and stepping up to the big screen. The photo shoot in the Maldives was held while he was shooting for Aazaan. The shoot went of brilliantly and Sachiin came off looking like an absolute natural in front of the camera. Harpreet has conducted photo shoots for many famous models and he himself admitted that Sachiin was calm and flawless in front of the lens. From his side, Sachiin enjoyed the shoot and even had the time to explore the lovely island. A nice break for the star considering his demanding schedule.
